[The answer to one listener's question inspired another...]

Dear Dr Greg,

I wanted to share a neighbourhood shift that was inspired by your talk last month on BTO about changing the past.

One evening last week I'd just started my legacy walk home from work when 2 little birds swooped down in front of me. In a blink of an eye, one went right under my tramping boot just as I brought it down in my step. It happened so fast, I couldn't react and I even felt it squish under my boot. As I looked back I saw blood and it's crushed little body, and the poor wee thing was trying to raise it's head. My mind raced, do I go back and put it out of it's misery, perform Blue Body on the street, or later when I got home. I kept walking with the entire scene frozen in my mind including seeing a man coming towards me eating what looked like a pie. By the time the man passed me, the bird was already on the ground.

Stunned, I continued to walk up the street. But then I remembered Greg's story about how to change the past. I made a decision to use the legacy walk to go back and change what had just happened. So for the rest of the 30min walk I marched home saying 'that little bird was always sitting in the tree watching me walk by tonight'. Every time I thought of it's poor little body, I changed my viewpoint to being the little bird sitting in the tree watching me walk by, seeing me pass the man eating the pie. I remembered that reality all night.

Next morning I thought that if I hadn't changed the past, it's little body would still be there on the footpath, but if it wasn't there, then it never was! You can imagine my great happiness when I walked to work and didn't find a trace of it on the footpath. Other older debris was there but not the little bird. Because it was never there, it was always sitting in the tree last night when I went by!

So thank you Dr Greg for your brilliant explanation of how to change the past. Thank you BTO for broadcasting this great information out to the world.
And thank you Ramtha for teaching us the knowledge and disciplines that made an extraordinary difference to me, and that wee little bird.

Love from Christine in New Zealand.
